Remember I told you, that you keep going from one extreme belief to another? good on you being in Sheikh Al-Habib's ceremony!

Sheykh Mohammad Cyrous said...

Salam,
I am not going to any extreme!

I am respecting him due to his clear distance with the Khomeini views and severe critics of the Welayat al Faghih dogma.

Whenever I meet a clergyman, it doesn't mean I will approve all his views...

I wish you would wake up. Interestingly you think secularism is not an extreme, wish you would study a bit more about the concepts you use before using them so bluntly. Ever notice how your views are mainly built on what happened to 'you', and how 'you' were treated. Just because 'you' were treated badly Iran is worse than the devil, and whoever is against Iran is probably good. Read a bit of history, and see how the British government treats other countries and people. Interestingly before colonizing countries big and small, from India to New Zealand to Africa and the middle east they subjected their own people and neighbors to oppression like the Scots and Irish... Although I guess this would be considered as Iranian propaganda! Amazingly whatever crap happens in Iran is considered US propaganda by some radicals! You have so much in common with the people you hate!

You should read some more books, my dear.

Securalism doesn't have one meaning and a single interpretation/application.
You have a lack of knowledge about secular humanism, state secularism, militant secularism, religious secularism, atheism, separation of religion and state and political quietism.
According to Gellner, a great governement retains the appearance of the religion however adopt a secular and materialistic prosperity growing secular knowledge, multicultural tolerance and economic power under “constitutional religion”.

Also, I don't understand what does the UK/European colonization model and Christian culture has to do with an Islamic/Muslim governement?!

This discussion is a little long in the comment section; however I will post an explanation soon.

By the way, my idea is not based
of a selfish reaction after been torture by the Khomeini's dogs; however it is reflecting the majority shia Ulama's beliefs.
Thousands of Ulamas while tortured by the Khomeini's dogs never delivered a speech according to their 'nafs'.
I am nothing to allow myself to critisize anything without the spiritual approval from the Quran, Hadith and shia Ulama.

I know you cheikh; you are not anti-sunni but you support all shia ulama who are against this inhuman theocracy in Iran.

your sunni brother
with love and respect,
BA

That is correct my dear!

My first Quran professor was sunni and I pray for him and all sincere and pious Muslims in the world.

I respect as well some great Muslim rulers such as Malaysia, UAE and some others who are for the well-being of their people and respect the value of practising the religion.

May Allah bless you
