After several pressure done by the pro Iranian regime lobby in London, I had to leave the previous TV channel.
يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِؤُواْ نُورَ اللّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ "They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths". (Holy Quran Tawbah:31)

However, it gave me the opportunity to be among FADAK TV channel team and deliver a series of lecture in French for the Francophone shiA community around the world.

Weekly program through Skype - Barzakh part 2

Barzakh is not only a place you stay and wait for judgment, but also a place that helps clean and purify you before yawm al qiyamah. Some part of the sins may be cleaned through the punishments we endure. Can be a place of opportunity for us as well.
Types of punishments
Faith in Allah, anbiya, aimmah are not only things that make barzakh easy for us. Some may believe in Islam, like ibn Muljim (la) but will suffer greatly.

Ibn Muljam is in one of the worst situations in barzakh. (Example from kitab ma’ad) Drew example of a big bird. A bird was sitting on rock and part of a man's body came out of the bird's mouth, the bird then left, came back, and another ¼ came out, the process continued till a whole human was let out. The large bird then came back and ate the body again by 1/4's – this body was Ibn Muljim during one of his daily punishment at the barzakh world.This type of Barzakh level is: Barhoot – a place that is most severe in punishments for hypocrites and oppressors (regardless their religion). This is the beginning for terrible people which is just an introduction to a bigger punishment after barzakh.
Imam Ridha (as) worried for us about the life in barzakh.We should be careful about understanding the Holy Quran and the hadith, because the Arabic language is a complex and difficult language and the meaning of one single word has to be based on history, jurisprudence, hadith, Arabic grammar, rules.Barzakh can also mean the veil separating salt water sea and fresh water in the holy Quran.
Another example: – e.g. about cutting hands, when Qur'an speaks about cutting hands – yad can mean an actual hand but also power, resources, - can also mean cutting the resources of a thief.This can be confirm with the way of punishing thief with the explanation how hazrat Yusuf (as) in the Quran dealt with his brother.
During government of ahlul bayt (as)– there were no jails but criminals were forced to study in order to learn about how to stop committing sins; actually the Ahl ul Bayt (as) didn’t used physical punishment.Punishments of 'alam al-barzakh

The fire we'll face in hereafter exists in barzakh
If we're following the right path what will happen?
Al-Imam Jafar Sadiq (as) emphasized the punishments we'll face despite being on the right path. Not same type as those who have been sinning – the level of regular shi'a.

One thing that will help us – asking for shifa'a and believing in wilayah of Amir al-Mu'mineen. By respecting ahlul bayt Allah will love us. Belief in Imaamah even more important than belief in Nabi example of Ibrahim (as) who became Imam as well.

Nabi Muhammad (sawaws) said – barzakh is the middle of two things, this is the response of the goodness or the badness between this dunya and the aakhira.

In an hadith in Usul al Kafi: Jafar asSadiq (as) was worry even to his Shi’A about the life in the barzakh. His said: – By God, I'm afraid for you in the barzakh.و الله اتخوف علیکم فى البرزخWhy? is because in Barzakh we won’t have any more the opportunity to ask for shafaa’a:
... اما فى القیامه فلکم فى الجنه بشفاعه النبى المطاع و وصى النبى
Barzakh is out of our control.
A common person came to Imam Jafar and asked about barzakh,
Imam said, Wallah, I'm scared for you for the coming of the barzakh.
The person said, what do you mean by barzakh?Imam Jafar replied - القبر منذ حین موته الى یوم القیامه This is the life in grave while waiting for yawm al qiyaamah
Barzakh like a veil between the world and hereafter. Despite that, we'll experience many different things.
Other level of barzakh – Salmi سلمی
This is a peaceful level, where the true believers will live freely, having a tranquil heart and having the insurance of their upcoming next life’s stage as an even more intense pleasure and joy. verse aali imran verse 169And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,
Imam Sadeq (as) explained that the believers will enjoyed very much their life inside the barzakh with the happiness for do to the next stage of life.
فاما ان کان من المقربین فروح و ریحان فى قبره, و جنت نعیم فى الاخره; و اما ان کان من المکذبین الضالین فنزل من حمیم فى قبره و تصلیه جحیم فى الاخره
مِّن عِندِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ
aal imran 195 a reward from Allah, and with Allah is yet better reward.
Every single moment at Barzakh will be a joy waiting for the great day of the Divine Court, while praying that their relatives and friends to join them in barzakh’s garden. How Sad is for some other couldn't join them.

There are many things for us to reform – starting with ourselves. Need to focus on education, science, learning and not blindly following fallible people whatsoever. Nonetheless, We should imitate rules and verdict of respectable 'ulema that are among us and understand our situation without blindly imitate superficially. Islam is a colourless, borderless religion, without a specific language, ethnic, culture; imitating a scholar is not a synonym to live as an Iranian, Iraqi and eat, wear, speak the same way. We must be proud of who we are, where we came from and where we live; nevertheless, Islam is given us limits and regulations to know what we can do or can’t do. For example, persian rice and kebab is the main food eaten by some of great scholars living in Qum, however these same scholars as soon as they live abroad, they will eat accordingly. All because Islam is an universal religion and it doesn’t belong to a particular culture.

In barzakh, we'll remember every type food we used to eat, the money used to buy it, and even our condition while eating (if we had wudu when eating it). Example give about one of a professor from Hawzah in Qum, sheykh an-Najafi who explained that a great scholar ate in a restaurant. This scholar while eating felt the food served was made by a cook under the state of junub and then stop eating it. Therefore even the place we are going should be carefully chosen.Food is an important issue and we don’t want to arrive in barzakh’s world with shameful results about this matter.May Allah forgive us and for the occasion of the coming of the Holy month of Ramadan which will be harsh this year due to the late maghrib time, we should make resolutions and be fully aware about all our action in order to be save from the punishment of the grave, inshaAllah.

Barzakh
Barzakh is a concept not only in Islam but in other religions such as Christianity called Limbo, Judaism Shoel and Dharmic (Hinduism, Buddhism) called Naraka
5 Levels of life

Pre-existance level before living in the world. Allah asks us through his angels whether or not we want to come to life or not.

The womb stage

Mortal life - Life expectancy is not limited to a certain age however commonly it is around 70-80 years old.

Barzakh - can be either difficult or not

Hereafter

In barzakh we are not able to communicate with anyone but we are able to hear others
Surat Al-Mu'minūn (The Believers) - سورة المؤمنون
99. [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back
100. That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
In Barzakh, we are not able to communicate with human beings of the mortal life stage but we can hear them.
We can speak, we have emotion, feelings pain and pleasure because we are living another parallel life.

We should always be thinking about our a’amal
When malik al-mawt (the angel of death) comes to take your soul you have seconds (or minutes) in which your entire life’s actions are presented to you, from the beginning to the end.We must be careful of our deeds

Next stage 1st night - we are now fully aware of our situation, that we are alone in the grave surrounded by our (bad and good) deeds.
• in the mortal stage, we shouldn’t only be thinking about heaven or hell but all the stages in-between which is complex and long.
• In barzakh we are free of our bodies but not free to move around as we pleased based on our deeds
• Some pious people have a special status in barzakh and the event won’t be difficult for them and may be free to travel.
• Barzakh is a world of waiting whereas the dunya is a place of work
In barzakh we are awaiting a second death

Surat An-Nahl (The Bee) - سورة النحل
32. The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do."
Proof us the communication we will have from the angels who may may greet warmly us to welcome us to this new stage of our existance.
Barzakh will be the first painful stage for some people. Not difficult for the mu’mineen.

If we work hard, angels will greet us upon entering this stage; gardens will be around us; it will be peaceful.
Barzakh will include a short interrogation about our faith: What is your religion and who is your prophet. The real interrogation will be during the Divine Court in the other stage.
Indeed we will not be worry about this brief interrogation but the consequences of our deed for the following stage.
We will thinking about our previous life and will wait for our surrounding (at the mortal stage) to join us.

Question and Answer session:
A sign that Allah (swt) may love you is that many people may love your company as well. To be detest by people may be a negative sign.
Nonetheless, sometimes some people may not like your company because you have not selected proper people to surround you who may have spiritual illness such as hasad, against your beliefs, hypocrits.
Also, Allah (swt) may test your love to Him (swt) with challenges you may experimented with people.
Finally, despite the fact you seems to follow your religion, you have difficulties to have a good relationship with people is due your private life that may not be acceptable to Allah (swt)'s rules.

Another question about Makruh:
How to avoid to do Makruh because I want to become a Hawzah student.
At the Hawzah, the professors and the scholars are not asking us to focus on avoiding Makruh deeds but to stick and work on wajeebaat and Muharramaat which is taking a lot of courage and struggle to working in these.
The danger of Makruh is when it drives one into haram acts.

How should one can practise better our faith to prepare barzakh especially when we are facing many un-Islamic situation (unveil women presence) ?
Mariage is very important however if it is not possible to married, temporary mariage is not recommended but can be waajeb (obligatory). Even during the holy month of Ramadan, it is desirable to break the fast while married which we help to complete our faith and enjoy our spirituality.
The last point on how to practise better:

We must read the holy Quran, to follow the resalah of maraaje and it is encouraged to meditate on the Nahj al Balagha, the Khutba of Amir al Mumenin (as) to Hammam (one of his companion) on how to become pious.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

O you who believe! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard (against evil) (2:183)
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

The holy month of Ramadan is approaching in few days. This is the occasion to purify our soul and body through fasting and total abstention from unethical behaviour and actions. Using abusing languages, slander, liying, backbitting which is very common among the Muslim community, must be refrained.
God (swt) says in the Quran:
"O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion, in deeds some suspicions are sins. And spy not neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear God, verily, God is the one who accepts repentance, Most Merciful." (49: 12)
To slander, using abusing language or direspecting others are either from a soul's disease or a total absence of faith (imaan) and education, following blindly the path of evil:
God says in the Quran: "Say to My servants that they should only say those things that are best, for Satan does sow dissensions among them, for Satan is to man an avowed enemy." (17:53)

Just thinking of the punishment of the grave عذاب القبر‎ after our death while waiting for the Day of Judgment, we can't even think commiting any sins.

This year the holy month of Ramadan starts at the heart of the summer's season and the fast will be challenging for many believers.
Alhamdulellah, in the UK the summer is bearable however in most of Muslim majority's countries, in California and even in Canada, which has heat wave, fasting is synonym of extreme struggle.
During this heat, many will experience extreme thirst and it recalls me a Hadith of Imam Sadeq (as) who said :"One who observes fast for a single day during summer and feels extremely thirsty, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime appoints a thousand angels to go to him, move their hands on his face and give him glad tidings. When he intends to end his fast, Allah says, 'How good your soul and your smell are! O angels! I hold you witness that I have forgiven this person'".

Nonetheless, this is the time to return to the essence of the Holy Quran, and to life under the constant light of the Quran while applying the ethic's teaching of the Quran in our daily life.
One of a book I will start to teach is the "Ethics of the Quran" which is one of the most important subject to spiritualy feed our heart from the love of the Quran. Inshallah it will be recorded and publish on the YouTube Channel and Satellite TV channels.

13 Rajab at town of al-Ghadeer

The strong heat, the smell of the fishes of the Atlantic Ocean, the adhan's sound, peaceful Islam, kindness of people ... It is a magical place called the town of al-Ghadeer.
Honey, Argan oil, bread was the main food eaten for my meals under the sun and my prayer mat.

I had a great spiritual moment in the Kingdom of Morocco where I was closer to Allah's environment and the nature while eating natural food and relaxing from the daily work and studies's stress.

The nature, as the Quran says, the reminder to mankind, is calling us for tawheed (absolute monotheism) to remember God's presence everywhere.
Regardless our race, religion, personal belief, culture, we are all the children of Adam (as) and will are all under God's rules and love. Ignorance and evil push people toward extreme and hate, it is also a matter of spiritual disease that make someone away from love and internal peace.
We just need to find our heart call in order to find the path... the path of God through the holy family of the Prophet Muhammad (sawa).

On the occasion of 13 rajab the happiness in the house of Ahl Bayt (as), I wish to extend my congratulation and greetings to Prophet Muhammad (sawa), the Ahl ul Bayt (as) and to all the lovers of God.

Allah (swt) says in the Holy Quran:
“Only Allah is your Vali and His Messenger and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow.” (5:55)
This verse was sent by Allah (swt) in praise of Imam Ali (as). Please recite Ziarat of Imam Ali (as) as well as Ziarat Jaame and offer donation on this occassion to renew your allegiance to Prophet Mohammad (sawa) and his Ahl ul Bayt (as).

It is also, the occasion of the Father Day where I send my warmest wishes especially to my dear father and all the fathers.

About Bahrain

May The Peace & Blessings of Allah Be Upon The Prophet Muhammad (saw) & His Holy Family (as)
Asalaamu Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatahu,
I usually don’t comment on issues other then the Iranian oppression upon Shia. This is not out of being careless, but rather due to my limited knowledge on the Iranian regime’s political plots abroad. However I have learned from credible sources, Bahrain is under sieze, being held hostage, from by Pro-Khomeini (i.e. Pro-Wiliyat Al-Faqih) plot among the Shia population.
Even with the plots from the Bakris (i.e. Sunnis) like the Bandargate conspiracy and scandal, the tortures inflicted upon the innocent civilians, etc, the Shia of Bahrain should not be tricked and allow any form of political Islam to enter into Bahrain. Pro-Khomeini (i.e. Wiliyat Al Faqih) organizations such as Al-Wafaa or Al-Asalah Islamic Society, which is Pro-Wahabi & Bakri, are dangerous for Bahrain’s interest and for our religion.
So this is my message to the Pro-Khomeini (i.e. Wiliyat Al-Faqih) supporters….
The events in Bahrain have been the main focus of some Pro-Khomeini (i.e. Wiliyat Al-Faqih) supporters in The United Kingdom in order to ‘cover up’ the oppression inside Iran. They believe the blood of a ‘Shia’ in Bahrain is purer than an Iranian Shia’s blood, due to one being a supporter of Wiliyat Al-Faqih and the latter is against it. This is why they stand up and speak out against Bahrain’s oppression (as well other other nations), but stay silent during the uprising in Iran.

However, Al-hamdulillah, most of the Shia in Bahrain are against the establishment of regime based on the concept of Wiliyat Al-Faqih. Bahrainis are an educated people, pious, open to the world and modernity. May Allah subhana wa ta’alaa bless Bahrain!

The “leaders” in Bahrain and Iran who have used torture, murder, violence against their own civilians should be arrested, judged by their own people as was done by Saddam Hussain. I wish the Bahrainis all of the best wishes and that the dictatorship over them is quickly removed.

Fitna in Islam

Importance of Du'a (supplication) for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (aj)

Imam Ali (as) says:
“Supplication is a shield for believers. When a door is knocked repeatedly, it opens”
(Usool kafi, vol.4 chapter of Supplication is the weapon of a believer, pg.215, H.4)
Imam Sadiq (as) said to one of his companions:
“Should I indicate to you a thing for which Holy Prophet (sawa) has not provided for any exception?”
The companion, “Please do”; Imam (as), “Supplication, it changes a certain decree (Qadha)”
[Usool kafi, Ch: Supplication changes calamities and decree, Pg.216, H:6]

Imam (as) folded his wrist tightly and said “By Allah, if a servant prays to Allah with the depth of his heart then Allah would certainly fulfill his wishes”
[Usool kafi, Ch: Effects of supplication, pg:224, H:5]

Imam Sadiq (as) says:
“Pray and never say whatever should have happened has happened and whatever is decreed should happen”.
[Usool kafi, Ch:Merits of Supplication, Pg 211, H.3]

Supplication has its effects:
“We should believe in Bada (change). Allah has a manner (shaan) each day. He writes whatever He wishes and He erases whatever He wishes. Qadha (Decree) and Qadr (Measure) are not a barrier to Supplication. There are possibilities of alteration in “Lawh-e-Mahwo Isbat”. Apart from this, supplication is also a reason for Qadha and Qadr. Therefore, it is ordered to supplicate”. (Usool kafi)

In another tradition, Imam Jafar Sadiq (as) said:
Supplication removes the decree and stops it in the manner such that a tight rope is loosened” (Ibid)

We all are aware the best of all the supplications is supplicating for the reappearance since reappearance is not only our final wish but a solution to all our problems, whether hidden or apparent.
Master of the Time (aj) wrote in a tawqee to Ishaq bin Yaqoob:
“Pray excessively for my reappearance, since in my reappearance lies a solution to all your problems”
(Kamaluddin, Vol. 2, Pg. 485)

Imam (as) wrote in a Tawqee to the author of Kamaluddin:
“Had our shias, may Allah give them tawfiq, remained united in fulfilling our promises, then our meeting would not have been delayed” (Biharul Anwar, Vol. 53, Pg. 176)

On the effects of supplication, the following tradition of Imam Sadiq (as) is very noteworthy:
“When the calamities over the Bani Israeel became severe, they prayed to Allah wailing. Allah revealed to Moosa (as) and Haroon (as) to relieve Bani Israeel from the chastisements of the Pharaoh. This was at a time when there were 170 years left in their 400 year long punishment. Allah reduced 170 years of punishment.”
Imam (as) further says that:
Your condition is also such that if you pray to Allah for reappearance, then Allah will certainly cause an early reappearance and if you do not pray then this affair will attain its completion.” (Tafseer Ayashi, Vol.2, Pg. 155)

The author of Mikyal ul Makarim writes under this tradition as under:
Imam (aj)’s reappearance is from those events in which “Bad’a” (change/alter) is possible, i.e. there can be changes to the appointed time (Mikyalul Makarim, vol. 1 pg. 347)
It can also be concluded from some traditions that one of the rights that Imam (aj) has upon us is that we should pray for his reappearance.
Imam Jafar Sadiq (a.s.) says, “It is one of our right on our Shias, that they should hold their chin and supplicate thus:

يَا رَبَّ مُحَمَّدٍ عَجِّلْ فَرَجَ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ- ياَ رَبَّ مُحَمَّدٍ اِحْفَظْ غَيْبَةَ مُحَمَّدٍ- يَا رَبَّ مُحَمَّدٍ اِنْتَقِمْ لِاِبْنَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ-
“O Lord of Mohammad, hasten the reappearance of sons of Mohammad. O Lord of Mohammad, protect the occultation of Mohammad. O Lord of Mohammad, hasten the revenge of daughter of Mohammad.” (Saheefa Mahdiyyah, Pg 195)

This supplication benefits the one who supplicates as well.
This supplication is the cause of deliverance from the darkness of the occultation. Imam Hasan Askari (as) says:
None will remain safe during occultation except for the one whom, Allah keeps steadfast and gives him an opportunity to pray for reappearance. (Kamaluddin, vol. 2, Pg 368)
In another tradition, he (as) narrates thus:
“When you realize that from amongst the clan of Progeny of Mohammad, an Imam is in occultation and you are barred from his visitation, then invoke Allah and pray for his reappearance. This will solve your problems.” (Kamaluddin, Ch. 32, H.)

There are many connections between supplication and reappearance. Some of these are reflected as below:
Supplication not only results in hastening of the reappearance, but also causes many bounties to descend, like forgiveness of sins, ascension of bounties, fending off calamities, prolonging of life, stability of sustenance, entering heaven, intercession of Aale Mohammad, safety from thirst on the day of judgement. The author of Mikyal has mentioned 110 benefits of praying for reappearance.

We reiterate that supplication can hasten the reappearance. Reappearance can be delayed by not praying. The incident of Bani Israeel would suffice as an example.
Some people say, “Imam (aj) will reappear when Allah wishes”. These people try to belittle the effects of supplication in this manner. This is true that the affair of reappearance actually lies in the hands of Allah. وَ اَمَّاظُهُوْرُ الْفَرَجُ فَاِنَّهُ اِلَي اللهِ
“And certainly, the authority of reappearance lies with Allah”. (Occultation Shaikh Toosi, Pg. 177).

However, keeping the traditions in mind, we can arrive at a conclusion that the reappearance of Imam (aj) is certain and the appointment of time for reappearance also lies with Allah. But, our prayers can bring near the time of reappearance. Allah’s promise can be fulfilled with our supplications.

A tradition from Imam Hassan (as) makes it obligatory to pray for reappearance like the daily 5 prayers. (Mikyalul Makarim, vol. 1, Pg. 333)

None should conclude of the foregoing discussions that, God forbid, Imam is in need of our prayers. He is not in need of our supplications. Rather, we are in need of his mercy. Its mentioned in a tradition that: “One who considers that Imam is in need of our supplications, then he is an unbeliever” (Tarjuma Mikyalul Makarim, vol. 2, Pg. 166).

Imam is needless of whatever is with the people. Whatever we pray for him, will benefit us alone. Whenever Allah wills and Imam reappears, every one will be benefited. Muharram 2010 in London

This year I haven't delivered any lectures for Muharram. I rather participated to majaless in London.

The atmosphere in London is really spiritual:
the foggy weather, the tremendous Husseyniahs, the quiet streets, the green nature, the black cloths wore by Shia in the street;
I just miss the Holy Shrine in Qum and the smell of the "esfand" in the street... It is time to remember the battle of Karbala and to remember the love of Imam Husseyn (as) for his Lord.
This love was so intense, so real, so sincere that the whole creation received this love energy; and no border, no time, no limit can decrease one epsilon of this love.

A speech of Ayatollah seyyed Sadeq Shirazi (ha), one of the great Marja of the time, said in one of his lecture: "Despite the wish of some to decrease this love from the heart of Imam Husseyn followers, believers will continue and increase their love more intensively".
As a famous hadith from our dear Prophet Muhammad (sawa) said: " إنّ لقتل الحسين حرارة في قلوب المؤمنين لن تبرد أبداً"
Imam Husseyn (as) makes a heat in the heart of the believers that can never be cooled... this heat is the energy love from Imam Husseyn (as) from the time of Ashoura.

One person came to me and said: "why are you commemorating a 1400 years old event? Can't you think to innove new technology?"
I replied: "Did you prepare your Christmas festivities, this year?"
He replied: "Why are you changing subject? I asked you a question and you answer me by a question!"
I repeated: "Did you prepare your Christmas festivities, it is in one week"
He said: "yes, as usual"
I said: "why are you following a 2000 years old event? Can't you think to innove new technology?"
Silence...

Most of us are forgetting that we are blindly following traditions without understanding the reason of it; Ashoura is one of an important Islamic date to purify ourselve and reform our life.
This year I participated to the Arabic lecture of Seyyed Mustafa al-Qazwini who came from Orange Country, California.
He is among the famous al-Qazwini family who are perfect English speakers "mubalegheen" preachers in the USA. I always respected them by all means.

I believe that we need preachers like them accross the world spreading the pure message of love of Imam Husseyn (as) and message away from any political propanganda.

During the night of Tas'ooa, Seyyed Mustafa said: "politic is for the one of love dunya, it is not for those who think about akhera; such was Yazid and other power lovers..."
Some preachers advocate political ideologies and misinterprete to integrate them with the pure message of Ahl ul Bayt (as).
The Quran says: "Allah loveth not that evil should be noised abroad in public speech, except where injustice hath been done; for Allah is He who heareth and knoweth all things." (4:148).

May God guide us all and show us the straigh path, the path of real love...

Condolences for the martyrdom of Imam Jafar Sadeq (as)

I would like to express my sincere condolences for the martyrdom anniversary our 6th Imam, Jafar al-Sadeq (as).

I am glad that I met several shia preachers in the UK who believe that the Welayat al Faghih is not Islam.

As a matter of fact, none of our infallibles did such behaviour and none of them will approve it.

If by any case I respect a clergyman, it would be based on his sincerity, distance with the dogmatic views of Khomeini and their following the pure teaching of Muhammad (sawa) which is the moderate secular Islam.

Tolerance and peaceful views are the main keys of a good Muslim; nevertheless whenever I read the "ziyarat Ashoura" it teach me that all the names on this supplication booklet were Muslims who oppressed innocents and Prophet lovers however many Muslim oppressor and extreminists should be included in this supplication.

"Wherewith Allah guideth all who seek His good pleasure to ways of peace and safety, and leadeth them out of darkness by his will unto the light - guideth them to a path that is leadeth them out of darkness, by His will, unto the light, -guideth them to a path that is straight". (the Holy Quran: 5:16)

Alhamdolellah the Holy of Ramadan is the time to think and making some resolutions for the rest of the year to be closer to God and knowing better ourselves. One evening I was at the Hawzah Ilmiyah.

At the same time, I miss my dear ayatollah seyyed Mojtaba Shirazi; inshallah at this end of the holy month, he will resume his weekly regular lessons in his home.

The coming of Youtube and Satellite channels brought in certain extend the hawzah Globalisation without to be oblige to travel; it is even convenient to select exact subjects and repeat whenever we need the same lesson.

The West offers us comfort and freedom of speech; however, unfortunately, it is not granted to every nation...

Sha’ban is the second month of ‘Ibadah in order to make preparations for the grand and majestic month of Holy Ramadhan – the month of Allah (swt). The Holy Prophet (sawa) has said, "Sha’ban is my month".

This is the month of asking for forgiveness of sins, giving alms, charity and fasting.
The Holy Prophet (saw) used to observe fast during the whole month of Sha’ban. Imam Zayn al-Abedin (as) has said,
"Whosoever, in love of the Prophet, wishes to seek nearness to Allah and receive His bounties, favours and rewards in this world and in the hereafter, must connect Sha’ban with Ramadhan in the matter of fasting and special prayers".

It is also reported from the Holy Prophet (sawa) that,
"Whosoever observes nine fasts in the whole month of Sha’ban should not fear the interrogation of Munkar and Nakeer.
Whosoever observes twelve fasts in the month of Sha’ban, 70,000 angels will descend over our grave on the first night of his burial, the night of wahshah to remove our fear and loneliness."
Therefore,we should observe at least twelve fasts to gain both the favours, inshAllah!

Tawhid, le monotheisme est la croyance en un Dieu. En Islam c'est la croyance en Allah, l'unique vrai Dieu. La base du monotheisme en Islam est vu dans le Coran ou Allah dit: "Et Nous n'avons envoyé avant toi de messager sans lui avoir révélé ceci : "Pas de divinité en dehors de Moi, adorez-Moi donc"." (Coran 21/25)

Seeking God
Allah, says in the Quran (112:2). Man came into this world with everything he needs to survive; he didn’t have to find the necessities of life they were already provided for him. Fortunately for us Allah in His Omnipotent Wisdom and Knowledge created this inquisitive nature in us to search for the answers to these mysteries and has given us the answers to these perplexing questions. After a thorough examination of cause and effect we come to know that there is a Primary Cause that has instigated all the subsequent effects.
When we don’t find or have an understanding of the Primary Cause we continue to search because we find ourselves unfulfilled and saddened (= fetrat reason).
While we search for the Primary Cause, we find ourselves being pulled in many directions. Once the knowledge of there being a primary cause is realized we have to find the correct way of following the commands of the Primary Cause.
He is the Oft-turning to mercy, the Most Merciful. Said We then, get down ye all together and when cometh from Me unto you a guidance, and whosoever follows My guidance on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve”. (2:37-38).

The Signs of God
God says in the Qur’an “Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth; - (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise.” (2:164). This knowledge allows us to worship Allah and have faith in Him. This knowledge is also essential in us having the right concept of Allah. The wrong concept of God will have us worshipping the created and not the Creator.

Islam is by definition is the total submission to the will of God. Another definition is peace. When we analyze these definitions we can deduce that peace, real peace, can only be obtained by submitting our will to that of God. That is the definition of a Muslim. Where in the above paragraph those that didn’t acknowledge God fell into peril and despair, the Muslim is assured of the mercy of God. The Qur’an attests to this when it says, “It is those who believe and confuse not their beliefs with oppression – that they are (truly) in peacefulness, for they are on right guidance.” (6:82).
This peace that God bestows upon his devotees also gives him a sense of responsibility towards himself and the creations of Allah. This makes the Muslim learn what his rights are and the rights that others have on him.
God deals with his creation by His signs (prophets) through them He shows us how we are to deal with life on every level.

Two ways of knowing God
Man has been said to posses mind, body and soul. The mind and soul are the intellect and spiritual aspects in man. These are his tools that deal with his internal faculties. His eyes, ears, nose, skin and mouth deal with the external. These tools that Allah has given to man allows us to know Him in various ways.
The Qur’an gives a great example of man’s inner and external search for him through the story of Prophet Abraham (as). God says, “ So also did We show Abraham the power and the laws of the heavens and the earth, that he might (with understanding) have certitude. When the night covered him over, He saw a star: He said: "This is my Lord." But when it set, He said: "I love not those that set." When he saw the moon rising in splendor, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moonset, He said: "unless my Lord guide me, I shall surely be among those who go astray." When he saw the sun rising in splendor, he said: "This is my Lord; this is the greatest (of all)." But when the sunset, he said: "O my people! I am indeed free from your (guilt) of giving partners to Allah. (6:75-79). In this story we see Prophet Abraham watching the heavens and observing the signs of Allah in nature (the stars, moon and sun). While he is using his physical faculties, he sees the stars, moon and sunrise and set. He when he saw each of them rise he concluded that they must be his Lord, but when they set his internal faculties deduced that these things were created and that the creator of these things must be worshipped. He must be his Lord. Hence Abraham declared “Verily I have turned my face wholly unto Him Who originated the heavens and the earth, being upright, and I am not of the associators.” (6:79) From Ibrahim (as) we find where man has found the right path through his intellect, and also by means of his physical faculties.

Pharaoh and the people of Pharaoh fit this description. There are many references to the story of Pharaoh and Prophet Moses (as) in the Qur’an for this purpose I will use what Allah says,” Then after them We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they wrongfully rejected them: So see what was the end of those who made mischief.
Moses said: "O Pharaoh! I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds, - One for whom it is right to say nothing but truth about God. Now have I come unto you (people), from your Lord, with a clear (Sign): So let the Children of Israel depart along with me." (Pharaoh) said: "If indeed thou hast come with a Sign, show it forth, - if thou tellest the truth." Then (Moses) threw his rod, and behold! It was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! And he drew out his hand, and behold! It was white to all beholders! Said the Chiefs of the people of Pharaoh: "This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed. "His plan is to get you out of your land: then what is it ye counsel?" They said: "Keep him and his brother in suspense (for a while); and send to the cities men to collect- and bring up to thee all (our) sorcerers well-versed." So there came the sorcerers to Pharaoh: They said, "of course we shall have a (suitable) reward if we win!" He said: "Yea, (and more), - for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)." They said: "O Moses! Wilt thou throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw?" Said Moses: "Throw ye (first)." So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them: for they showed a great (feat of) magic. We put it into Moses’ mind by inspiration: "Throw (now) thy rod”: and behold! It swallows up straight away all the falsehoods, which they fake! Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect. So the (great ones) were vanquished there and then, and were made to look small. But the sorcerers fell down prostrate in adoration. Saying: "We believe in the Lord of the Worlds, - "The Lord of Moses and Aaron." Said Pharaoh: "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? Surely this is a trick, which ye have planned in the city to drive out its people: but soon shall ye know (the consequences). "Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on apposite sides, and I will cause you all to die on the cross." They said: "For us, We are but sent back unto our Lord: "But thou dost wreak thy vengeance on us simply because we believed in the Signs of our Lord when they reached us! Our Lord! Pour out on us patience and constancy, and take our souls unto thee as Muslims (who bow to thy will)! (HQ 7:103-126) Here we find God sending Pharaoh one of his signs (Moses p.b.u.h) with clear evidence. Pharaoh, taking himself to be god was full of arrogance because of what God had given to him (power, wealth, sons). Pharaoh’s intellect (inner faculties) was astray because of his physical perceptions concerning the blessing God gave him. God gave Moses (as) signs to warn Pharaoh of his waywardness and to return him to the path. When Pharaoh saw the physical power of Allah through His signs, Pharaoh resisted and was destroyed. When Pharaoh was drowning he finally acknowledge God, and said, “There is no god but the God of Moses (as).” (10:90). Here we find God giving man the opportunity to use his external and internal tools to acknowledge Him by his signs, but man not recognizing his own limitations failed to see God’s signs. He failed to see that God is not limited and it was God that gave man everything he had. May God keep us far away from the arrogance of Pharaoh, and may he also remove the veils from our sight so that we acknowledge Him internal and externally.
God has designed man to call out to Him in his time of need. At that time he realizes that he has no power. He sees his limitations and has no choice but to call on God. At this time his faculties, internal and external, turn to the Primary Cause for help.

Hadith
Imam Ali (as) has said, “Praise be to Allah who wore (the dress of) honor and pride and has chosen them both for Himself giving not to his creatures.” He the Imam continues, “And Allah, The Exalted, has cursed those of his servants who attempt to quarrel with Him over this quality (honor and pride)”.
From the above we see that only Allah has the right to be proud. Al- Mutakabbir is one of the attributes of Allah. This attribute describes how Allah is the One that possesses all greatness, Who is above having any of the qualities of His creatures, Who is above being harmed by the oppressors among His creation, Whose greatness and pride are the super-most. This shows that Allah is the only One that deserves the attributes of greatness, perfection, pride, and glory, all at the same time. Who is greater than Allah? And whom does Allah submit to? The answer to both questions is no one. Thus Allah has said, “Surely evil is the dwelling place of those who are proud.” (16: 59). We find that, the first being to be filled with pride was the Iblis, the shaytan, he was ordered by Allah to bow down to Adam (as) but he was full of pride and Allah cursed him until the day of judgment. (15: 29-33). By us being filled with pride we follow the example of shaytan, the rejected, and that leads straight to the hell fire. What an evil abode it is.

A second way to see God
In this world man is that uneducated guy sitting there looking at the huge computer system. Even the brilliant among us can’t begin to imagine what it will take to run this universe. How can a man regulate all the births that occur in plants and animals, how can he regulate temperatures all over the world? How can he not see that it is Allah the Master Planner, and Master Builder, that is in control. He is The Lord, Cherisher, Sustainer, and Evolver of all the worlds. (1:2).

Here we can see that if man were to sit back and ponder the order in nature he will find his Lord. God has said “Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding,- Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire. (3: 190. -191) These verses show that if man would ponder these signs in nature we will see that The All-Mighty creator made this system and we will be successful if we praised and worship Him. We can also see that this system was not created for nothing, but for a purpose. All praises belong to God.
The human body is truly a work of art, Allah says ”We have created man in the best structure”. (95: 4) This ayat from the Qur’an shows that there was a creator that created us, but in the previous section it was said that technology helped to prove the oneness of God.
God says, “Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)? Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (Allah) make and fashion (him) in due proportion.”(75:37-38).
This is present not only in man but also through out all creation. The oneness of Allah is seen hereby technology because only with recent technological advances has this information become available. Allah has made these signs available to us fourteen hundred years ago.

How small we are
This is because Allah can never be compared to anything. Allah in his infinite wisdom assures that when he says, “He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him.” (112: 3-4). Ayatollah Pooya in his commentary on this verse states, “Anthropomorphism, the tendency to conceive God in the terms known to man, creeps in at all times and among all peoples. Nothing or no being can be separated from the infinite Supreme Being nor was there anything or being from which He was separated. So neither He begets nor was He begotten. Therefore there cannot be any being like to Him.” So in a nutshell anything we imagine to be Allah is not Allah. So how do we know our Maker? We know him by his qualities.
The most well known Qualities of God are:
Allah is the “Knower” (Alim): He knows all things.

Allah is Powerful (Qadir): He has ability over all things.
Allah is the Living because something which is living has wisdom, power and because Allah is Wise and Powerful, thus he is Living
Allah is the Willer (Mur’id) that is He has a Will power and he is not obliged in His work and whatever He does, has a goal and wisdom and even the smallest thing in the universe does not lack a philosophy and a goal.
Allah is Perceiving (Mudrek), that is, He understands and perceives all things; He sees everything; He hears all things and He is aware of all things.
Allah is Primordial and Eternal (Qadim and Azali), that is, He always was and His existence has no beginning because He always boils from His inner Essence and because of this, He is primordial and eternal because a person whose being is from he himself has no non-existence or annihilation.
Allah is the Speaker (Mutakalim), that is, He can create waves in the atmosphere and speak to His Prophet, not that Allah has a tongue or lips or a larynx.
Allah is Truthful (Sadiq), that is, whatever He says is the Truth and is equivalent to reality because lying comes from ignorance or from weakness and a lack of power and it is impossible for Allah Who is Knowing and Powerful, to lie

The Most well known negation of Qualities of Allah are:

He is not a composite. That is, He does not have mixed elements because in this case, He would be in need of other elements, whereas, He is in need of nothing.
Allah is not a body because every body is limited, unstable and accepts annihilation.
Allah is not visible. That is, He cannot be seen because if He could be seen, He would be a body, limited and accepting annihilation.
Allah has no place because He is not a body to require a place.
Allah has no partner because if He had a partner, He would have to be a limited creature because two non-limited, from every point of view, is not possible and in addition, the unity of law of this world shows His Oneness.
His Qualities are exactly like His Essence.
Allah is Needless and Self –sufficient. He is rich and containing everything because an endless being from the point of view of knowledge, power and all things had no deficiencies.

God says again, “There is nothing like unto Him.”

Conclusion

Tawheed or monotheism has been the subject of this composition. It has been shown how everyone searches for his Creator.
It has been shown how the Creator manifests himself to his creatures. It has shown how those who don’t acknowledge the Creator behave in adversity as opposed to those who do. Nature was shown to bear witness to the Creator and the Oneness of that Creator. Science and technology have been used and Qualities defined to express God's Unity.
The best proof or proclamation of God's unity is from his book, where he says,” Say: "Who is the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "(It is) Allah." Say: "Do ye then take (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for good or for harm to themselves?"
Say: "Are the blind equal with those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with light?" Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible."

It is my first Moharram in London; wearing black, crying, remembering our 3rd infallible Imam, Hussein ibn Ali (as) during the event of Karbala...

Islam shouldn't be involve with politic or any kind of human manipulations, and Moharram is coming to reminds us to be alert of oppression: Muslim oppressions. Imam Hussein (as) was killed by a Muslim oppressor, Yazid and we have to learn from his way of life, patience and kindness towards humankind.

I send my sorrow to all Muslims and non Muslims for the occasion of the martyrdom days of Imam Hussain (as) who sacrifice himself for the whole humanity.

For those who would be in London area, you could come to Husseiniyat al-Rasoul al A'zam where Mulla Bassim al-Karbalaei will be present to say eulogies on the event of Karbala.

Every evening at 7:30pm until Jan 1st 2010. The day of Ashoura will be on Sunday 28th December.

Dhu al-Hijjah : Literally means 'Lord of the Pilgrimage'. It is during this month in which the Hajj Pilgrimage takes place and pilgrims from all around the world congregate at Makkah to visit the Kaaba.

First ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah (Dhul Hijjah): Days of virtue and righteous deeds

The sacred month of Dhu al-Hijjah (Dhul Hijjah) is one of the highly blessed months. The pious and upright companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sawa) and their first generation followers used to spend this month in prayers and supplications, particularly the first ten noteworthy days which have also been distinguished in Glorious Qur'an.

This season of worship brings many benefits, such as the opportunity to correct ones faults and make up for any shortcomings or anything that one might have missed. Every one of these special occasions involves some kind of worship through which the slaves may draw closer to Allah (swt), and some kind of blessing though which Allah (swt) bestows His favour and mercy upon whomsoever He will.

Celebration of Emam Reza (as)' birthday

Emam Reza (as)was born on Zul Qadih 11, 148 AH.
His father was the seventh Emam and his mother was a very virtuous lady, Najmeh. He was called Ali after his grandfather's name. Emam Reza's life, which was after the scientific movement of Emam Bagher and Emam Sadegh, was the age of the Islamic scientific progress. The spirit of the Islamic school was well known everywhere.
However, Emam Reza (as) was the most outstanding scientifist ever existed in that era. There have been historical documents, which are indicative of many scientific discussions between Emam Reza (as) and the great religious figures of the era.

On his birthday, we pray God that this honorable Emam whose shrint is our santuary in this world would set the things so that our sins would be forgiven.

خدایا گاهی اوقات تو چقدر سختی. خدایا با من تماس بگیر...
هر روزشيطان لعنتي خط هاي ذهن مرااشغال مي كندهي با شماره هاي غلط ، زنگ مي زند،‏ آن وقت من اشتباه مي كنم و او با اشتباه هاي دلمحال مي كند.
ديروز يك فرشته به من مي گفت: تو گوشي دل خود را بد گذاشتي آن وقت ها كه خدا به تو مي زد زنگ آخر چرا جواب نداديچرا بر نداشتي؟!يادش به خير آن روزهامكالمه با خورشيددفترچه هاي ذهن كوچك من را سرشار خاطره مي كردامروز پاره استآن سيم ها كه دلم راتا آسمان مخابره مي كرد.

یک سخنران معروف در مجلسی که دویست نفر در آن حضور داشتند، یک اسکناس بیست دلاری را از جیبش بیرون آورد و پرسید: چه کسی مایل است این اسکناس را داشته باشد؟ دست همه حاضرین بالا رفت. سخنران گفت: بسیار خوب، من این اسکناس را به یکی از شما خواهم داد ولی قبل از آن میخواهم کاری بکنم. و سپس در برابر نگاه‏های متعجب، اسکناس را مچاله کرد و باز پرسید: چه کسی هنوز مایل است این اسکناس را داشته باشد؟ و باز دستهای حاضرین بالا رفت. این بار مرد، اسکناس مچاله شده را به زمین انداخت و چند بار آن را لگد مال کرد و با کفش خود آنرا روی زمین کشید. بعد اسکناس را برداشت و پرسید: خوب، حالا چه کسی حاضر است صاحب این اسکناس شود؟ و باز دست همه بالا رفت.سخنران گفت: دوستان، با این بلاهایی که من سر اسکناس آوردم، از ارزش اسکناس چیزی کم نشد و همه شما خواهان آن هستید. و ادامه داد: در زندگی واقعی هم همین‏طور است، ما در بسیاری موارد با تصمیماتی که میگیریم یا با مشکلاتی که روب‏رو میشویم، خم میشویم، مچاله میشویم، خاک ‏آلود میشویم و احساس میکنیم که دیگر ارزش نداریم، ولی اینگونه نیست و صرف‏نظر از اینکه چه بلایی سرمان آمده است، هرگز ارزش خود را از دست نمیدهیم و هنوز هم برای افرادی که دوستمان دارند، آدم پر ارزشی هستیم.
آرزو و تمنا، نيمي از زندگي است و بي تفاوتي، نيمي از مرگ است

The night between 14 and 15 Shaban, known, as “Shab-e-Bara’at” is the night of blessings and glory.
Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadegh (as) reported that Imam Muhammad Baqir (as) was asked about the merit and excellence of this night then Imam replied, “ It is one of those nights being bestowed with honour and dignity. In this holy night Allah grants His servants and forgives them with His graciousness, kindness and favour. So try to find out nearness to Allah. In fact this is that glorious night that Allah Almighty swore by Him ‘not to turn back any one empty handed.’
The honour of this night touches heights and elevation as in the same night at the time of seher (pre-dawn) Hazrat Saheb al Asr-e-Wazzaman - the 12th successor of Holy Prophet - was born in the year 255 A.H. in Samarah, Iraq.
There are many Aamal reported to be performed in this night - some of these are as under:
-To take bath;
-Cease to sleep and spend the night in ibadat, prayer, recitation of Holy Quran and istighfar as was the practice of Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abedeen (as);
-To recite ziarat of Imam Hussain (as) which is the best amal of this night and a source of forgiveness of sins.
It is reported from Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abedeen (as) that he who wants to shake hand with the souls of one lakh and 24 thousands prophets, should recite ziarat of Imam Hussain (as):
-To recite the following dua which is equal to the ziarat of Imam Mahdi (aj):
-To recite dua-e-kumail;
-To recite hundred times:
Imam Baqir (as) said he who recites this, will be pardoned and Allah will fulfill his all wishes of the world and hereafter.
-To offer 4-rakaat prayer with 2 Salams. In each rakat recite sura Ikhlaas hundred times after sura Hamd. Then after prayer recite:
-To recite 10-rakaat prayer with 5 Salams. In each rakat recite sura Ikhlaas ten times after sura Hamd. Then prostrate and recite following dua:
-To present Areeza-e-Hajaat in the bargah of Imam Mahdi (aj) at the time of pre-dawn.
15th of Shaban is the day of glory, honour, dignity and blessings as it is the Birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam-e-Zamana (Ajja lallahu farajahu). He is the Imam of our era and a hadith of Holy Prophet (sawa) goes:
‘One who dies without knowing the Imam of his time dies a death of ignorance (Jahalat).
Imam Mahdi, al-Qa’em, Saheb-al-Asr Wazzaman (aj) is our Imam, Imam of our era and as the verse 71 of sura Bani Israel says:
“(Remember) the day (of Judgement) when we shall call every people with their Imam.”
We will be called and presented with our Imam on resurrection day.
His mother was Narjis (as). At the time of the martyrdom of his father Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (as) he was five years old.
The Imam has two disappearances: a short disappearance and the long disappearance.
The short disappearance was from the time of his birth until the death of the fourth deputy in year 329 hijri. The long disappearance began the year 329 hijri and is continuing until now, waiting for the command of Allah to appear, so he can bring peace and justice to earth as it is now filled with destruction and oppression.
The messenger of Allah Muhammad (sawa) said, “ If there was one day left for the world, Allah the Almighty will prolong that day so that my son, whose name is the same as mine, will arise. He will fill the world with justice and fairness as it was filled with oppression and tyranny.
During the period of Imam (aj)’s occultation, maraje uzzam have been referred to for the solution of worldly and religious problems. With the praise of Allah Maktab-e-Tashayyo has this honour that ‘darwaza-e-ijtehad’ is open in it.
Some aamal of this glorious day are:
-To wear new and fine dress;
-To keep fast;
-To recite ziarat of Hazrat Saheb al Asr (aj);
-To pray for Imam’s haste appearance.

Indiscutablement l'islam est la religion de la spiritualité, de paix et de tranquillité. Le nom Islam en arabe signifie la paix - l'un des noms de Dieu, Allah, est la paix. Beaucoup d'autres attributs de Dieu sont directement liés à la paix al Mu'min, Le soulagement, le juste, le juge, le Clément, Le Miséricordieux, Le Tout Miséricordieux, al wadood et al Lateef, la paix et l'amour.
Islam est un paradis de la justice sociale et l'égalité des sexes. Ancrée dans sa philosophie, la fraternité de l'homme nature, ce qui lui permet de combiner les civilisations. Il considère que tous les prophètes sont frères les uns des autres. La philosophie de la paix de l'Islam deviendra compréhensif après la lecture de ces versets suivants:
وَلَا تَبْغِ الْـفَسَادَ فِىْ الْاَرْضِ‌ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِيْنَ‏
"Et ne recherche pas la corruption sur terre. Car Allah n'aime point les corrupteurs".28:77.

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَاْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْاِحْسَانِ وَاِيْتَآىِٕ ذِىْ الْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهٰى عَنِ الْفَحْشَآءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ
"Certes, Allah commande l'équité, la bienfaisance et l'assistance aux proches. Et Il interdit la turpitude, l'acte répréhensible et la rébellion." 16:90.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ادْخُلُوْا فِىْ السِّلْمِ کَآفَّةً وَّلَا تَتَّبِعُوْا خُطُوٰتِ الشَّيْطٰنِ‌ؕ اِنَّهٗ لَـکُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِيْنٌ‏
"Ô les croyants! Entrez en plein dans l'Islam, et ne suivez point les pas du diable, car il est certes pour vous un ennemi déclaré." 2:208.

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَاْمُرُكُمْ اَنْ تُؤَدُّوْا الْاَمٰنٰتِ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهَاۙ وَاِذَا حَكَمْتُمْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ اَنْ تَحْكُمُوْا بِالْعَدْلِ‌
“et quand vous jugez entre des gens, de juger avec équité.” 4:58.
L'Islam et la promotion de la paix se manifeste de façons et des formes différents: à travers la libération de la femme et de l'esclavagisme, de l'aider des démunis et des orphelins, des voyageurs et la défense des opprimés et de la justice, la préservation de l'âme humaine, l'honneur de la maternité et la préservation des liens de famille et de meilleures relations avec les parents et les amis, la promotion de bienveillance et la gentillesse de ses voisins et amis, la promotion de la morale des personnages et de l'éthique, de la miséricorde et du pardon.

Ces traits et ces vertus sont profondément enracinées dans le tissu de l'islam et dans les sociétés musulmanes. Les versets coraniques et des traditions du prophète islamique illustrant ces traits et caractéristiques sont assez communes.

Histoire d'une prière

Un darvish et un homme pieux étaient ensemble sur une route.
'Il est temps de faire la salat!" Et il a commencé à prier. Rakat après rakat, prosternation après prosternation. Le Darvish a finalement perdu patience et après que le pieux termina sa prière, il lui demanda: "Pour ça vous a pris autant de temps pour faire la prière?"
L'homme pieux a répondu: 'J'ai fait les prières surrogatoires (nafile)!" Le Darvish a dit: "Bon, je vais faire également ma prière et commença à prier. Mais la salat du Darvish a duré vraiment longtemps, et l'homme pieux n'a pas pu tenir.

"Subhannallah!" S'exclama-t-il, «votre prière a duré bien trop longtemps!" «Regardez, j'ai terminé les prières de la semaine dernière!" a dit le Darvish. L'irritation de l'homme pieux a augmenté: "Ce genre de chose n'est pas acceptable!" Le Darvish a commencé à rire: "Ah! Si vos prières en surplus seront acceptés dans l'au delà, pourquoi mes prières cash ne le seront pas?"

Le Prophète (sawa) a dit: "Si une personne fait deux rakats sans être distret, tous ses péchés passés seront pardonnés."

Imam al-Sadiq (as) a dit: "Faire la prière de la nuit embellit le visage, améliore le comportement, parfume le corps d'une odeur naturelle agréable, augmente les revenus, paie les dettes, enlève les soucis et clarifie la vision."

Et Il a ajouté dans un autre hadith: "Les maisons dans lesquelles le Coran est récité durant la prière de la nuit, elles brillent aux habitants du paradis tel que des étoiles pour les habitants de la terre."

Spiritual moments in Morocco

Dès que nous sommes arrivés à Casablanca via Doubaï, la délégation des droits de l'homme de l'université Mofid et moi avons visité la mosquée de Hassan II, la plus grande mosquée du monde, dont 2/3 de celle-ci, est construite sur l'océan Atlantique.
Ces caractéristiques ont été expressément commandé par le roi Hassan II, qui a déclaré, "Je veux construire cette mosquée sur l'eau, parce que le trône de Dieu est sur l'eau. Par conséquent, les fidèles qui s'y rendent pour prier, pour faire l'éloge du créateur sur le sol ferme, peuvent contempler le ciel et l'océan de Dieu. "La Mosquée Hassan II est conçu par l'architecte français Michel Pinseau et construit par Bouygues, elle est la deuxième plus grande au monde (après le Masjid al-Haram à la Mecque). Il se dresse sur un promontoire face à l'Atlantique, ce qui peut être vu à travers un gigantesque plancher de verre avec de la place pour 25.000 fidèles. Un autre 80000 peuvent être logés dans la cour de la mosquée. Son minaret est l'une des plus grand du monde (210 mètres). Ensuite, nous sommes partis pour Fès, la ville spirituelle. J'ai entendu parler de Mowla Idriss et de l'Université de Karaouine, mais je ne l'ai jamais vraiment pensé à visiter ces lieux saints.

Qui était Mowla Idriss?

Il est nommé d'après un descendant du prophète Mohammad (sawa), Mowla Idriss, fondateur de Fès. Son tombeau est un important lieu de pèlerinage pour les amoureux des Ahl al Bayt Nabi. Dans l'autre ville, il a fondé, Fès, il existe dans l'ancienne médina, un sanctuaire dédié à Mowla Idriss où les fidèles viennent de brûler des bougies et prier. Nous pensons qu'il est des Ahl al-Bayt (as) descendance du saint prophète Mohammad (sawa).
Lorsque je suis entré dans la mosquée j'étais nez à nez devant son tombeau; je me suis incliné en signe de respect et embrassé son tombeau; les marocains ont été surpris de me voir faire ce geste, et l'un d'eux m'a demandé pourquoi embrassais-je le tombeau de Mowla Idriss? J'ai répondu: il fait parti des Ahl al-Bayt (as), nous les chiites, nous respectons beaucoup la famille du saint prophète (sawa). Il m'a sourit chaleureusement et a ajouté: "qu'Allah vous bénisse". Ensuite, nous sommes allés à l'Université Karaouin.
Il a produit de nombreux savants qui ont influencé l'histoire intellectuelle et universitaire dans le monde musulman. Parmi ceux-ci sont Abou Abdallah al-Sati, Abou al Abbas al Zwawi, ibn Rashid al Sati (1321), Ibn Al Haj Al Fassi (1336) Abou al Fassi Madhab, l'un des principaux théoriciens de l'école de pensée Maleki Léon l'Africain et une renommée voyageur et écrivain.
L'université Karaouin a joué un rôle de premier plan dans les relations culturelles et académiques entre le monde islamique et l'Europe dans le Moyen-Age, par exemple, le cartographe Mohammad Al Idrissi, qui a aide les explorations européennes durant la renaissance vivait à Fès et a étudié à Karaouin.

How can I see Allah

How to see Allah
A brother asked me if I had the experience to see Allah.
I was a little surprised at the beginning but then I remember the Holy Quran who already answer that question.
I will use the holy Quran to answer your question :
"No vision can grasp Him. (6.103)
"It is not fitting for a human being that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration or from behind a veil." ( 42.51)
I want to see GOD: This particular question is very common by people especially Muslims around the world and was even ask during the time of the holy Prophet (swt) and the Imam Masoom. Myself I wished to be able to see God, the al-Basir and al-Samee by excellence.
As a matter of fact, Islam teaches that the whole purpose of this life is a trials and tests according to the Holy Quran.
The important thing to keep in mind is that God does not force us to come to Him or to submit to what He has ordained.
This means that we always have a choice, we are free. Logically, it will be obvious if we can see Him, so, what is the purpose to "test" us and be able to see him. If anyone ever had seen God - how could they then be in a fair test? Also, in Islam we know that if God "reveals" Himself through his light and the angel Jibreel.
The biggest goal for the Muslims in the Next Life is to have a chance to stand in front of the "Presence of God." Although we are all definitely looking forward to the Paradise and all that it contains, we look to this as being the highest and greatest of all honors and favors of God - the opportunity to just be "close to God" from time to time in the Paradise.
These are some of the reasons why we don't "see" God in this life?
We can not only see God, but also heard, smelled, felt, imagined, or any other sense that we have. As I said, it would violate the principle of Him not interfering with our choices.
Additionally, we cannot compared His creation in any way to His own creation. All power, might and strengths are with God and there is none who can challenge Him, ever.
We do not put God in the creation.

We say what God says about Himself in His Book, that He created the Heavens and the earth in six days and then He rose above His Throne (in a manner that befits His Majesty).
He is "All Hearing, All Seeing, All Compassionate, All Loving, All Might, "Laa howla wa laa qowata illa bil lah."
(There is no might or power anywhere at anytime, except the Might and the Power of Allah)."

La commémoration d'un décès

A year ago, on the 29 of Sharivar, my dear uncle past away in Tehran and has been buried in the Holy city of Qum like most of my family.
I would like to express my deepest condolence to the Cyrous' family for the first anniversary of the departure of my uncle dr. Kavous Cyrous. May his soul rest in peace.

La mort selon l'Islam

La mort est un grand mystère pour la plupart des gens. Ce n'est pas le cas pour les étudiants en science coranique. Nous apprenons que la mort est exactement comme un sommeil avec des rêves (cf Coran 6:60, 40:46). La période entre la mort et la résurrection se déroule comme une nuit de sommeil (cf Coran 2:259, 6:60, 10:45, 16:21, 18:11, 19, 25, 30:55).

Au moment de la mort, tout le monde connaît son destin, le paradis ou l'enfer. Pour les infidèles, la mort est un événement horrible, les anges les frappent sur le visage et par l'arrière pour leur arracher les âmes (8:50, 47:27, 79:1). Le noble Coran parle de duex genre de mort, le premier décès a lieu lorsque nous n'obéïssons pas l'autorité absolue de Dieu. Cette mort reste jusqu'au jour ou nous naissons dans ce bas-monde.

La seconde mort met fin à notre vie en ce monde (2:28, 22:66, 40:11).

Les pieux ne meurent pas mais vont directement au Paradis.

Annonce à ceux qui croient et pratiquent de bonnes oeuvres qu'ils auront pour demeures des jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux; chaque fois qu'ils seront gratifiés d'un fruit des jardins ils diront: "C'est bien là ce qui nous avait été servi auparavant". Or c'est quelque chose de semblable (seulement dans la forme); ils auront là des épouses pures, et là ils demeureront éternellement." (2:25)

"Ô vous qui croyez! Répondez à Allah et au Messager lorsqu'il vous appelle à ce qui vous donne la (vraie) vie." (8:24) Alors il [lui] fut dit: "Entre au Paradis". Il dit: "Ah si seulement mon peuple savait! ... en raison de quoi mon Seigneur m'a pardonné et mis au nombre des honorés".(36:26-27).

"Ô toi, âme apaisée, retourne vers ton Seigneur, satisfaite et agréée; entre donc parmi Mes serviteurs, et entre dans Mon Paradis".

Psalmodier le noble Coran

Programme télévisé au sujet du noble Coran
La chaîne satellitaire iranienne m'a proposé d'enregistrer pendant 3 jours un programme de 26 pièces sur «l'apprentissage pour psalmodier le noble Coran». L'équipe du tournage à louer l'école Motahari vers le Sud de Téhéran qui est en fait une ancienne Howzah.
L'architecture et la conception de cette école est si typique persan que de nombreux touristes viennent visiter l'endroit. Au cours de tournage quelques touristes en provenance du Portugal et d'Allemagne ont participés au tournage. Étant le présentateur de ce programme, j'ai enseigné l'alphabet arabe 2 par 2, et les règles de lecture coranique.
En 26 éditions, le programme explique dans les détails pour les anglophones le tajwid. L'équipe (environ 30 personnes) ont été très agréable et utile. Bien sûr, quelques difficultés se sont présentés dû à un manque d'harmonie et nous avons eu répéter certaines scènes plusieurs fois. L'équipe à travailler sous pression et stress. Certains n'ont que quelques heures pour dormir à cause de la quantité de travail à fournir. À la fin du programme, une autre équipe de télévision est venue de prendre le dessus et enregister d'autres programmes.
Pour conclure le programme, un journaliste m'a interviewé pour me demander un résumé de ma biographie et des feedback du travail. Il sera diffusé au moins deux fois par an, probablement au cours du mois de Ramadan, du Moharram et de Rajab, mais je ne suis pas certain de l'horaire.

Self-esteem in Islam

Convictions

Self-esteem is a by-product of right/sound thoughts or beliefs and right actions… it is not an entity in itself, it does not exist in a vacuum. The 'feeling good' associated with self-esteem is a result of these thoughts and actions.

Most people misunderstand self-esteem as a feeling and do not associate it with their thoughts and actions... they want to feel good without evaluating how they achieve it. Generally, such a sense of self-esteem does not last for long, because if it is not grounded in a positive belief system and accompanied actions, hence it has no lasting effect and rings hollow.

We need self-esteem when we are talking about Islamic convictions. Muslims have nothing less comparing to other religions.
However there is a difference between high self-esteem, arrogance and pride.
The principles of Islam advocate and nurture the development of a positive self-esteem as it corrects our thoughts, feelings and actions; teaching us to elevate our self from the ‘lowest of low’ to developing a sense of discernment and inclining toward the most ‘ihsan’ (beautiful) way of being.

The goal of tazkiyah (self-purification) is to make one be and do the right thing in the best of ways and to strive for excellence, with the belief that one is doing it for the pleasure of God.

It encourages one to realize one’s potential of becoming the representative of God, toward which aim mankind was created. This belief is powerful enough to make one develop a positive self-esteem.

Just the idea that the creation of mankind is for a higher goal should make us choose a healthier, higher life.

What does the Quran says about self-esteem?
The Quran tells us that mankind has been created with dignity, honor and with the potential ability of being the ‘highest of highs’:
Sûrah al Isrâ 17.70 "Now, indeed, We have conferred dignity/honor on the children of Adam."

Surah at Tîn 95.4 "We have indeed created man in the best of moulds"
Though human beings can become "the lowest of the lowest," the Quran declares that they have been made "in the best of moulds", having the ability to think, to have knowledge of right and wrong, to do good and to avoid evil.
Surah al Hujurât 49. 13 "O Mankind, We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other. Verily the most honored of you in the sight of God is he who is the most righteous of you"

According to Islam right belief and right action go hand in hand, one without the other doesn’t cut it.

It is only when action follows belief that one feels right. There are more than 100 verses in the Quran that associate right belief and good acts together.

Surah Maryam19.96 "On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. "
Surah al Ankabût 29.7 "Those who believe and work righteous deeds, - from them shall We blot out all evil (that may be) in them, and We shall reward them according to the best of their deeds."
Surah Sâd 38.28 "Shall We treat those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the same as those who do mischief on earth? Shall We treat those who guard against evil, the same as those who turn aside from the right? "
Surah Ghâfir 40.58 "Not equal are the blind and those who (clearly) see: Nor are (equal) those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and those who do evil. Little do ye learn by admonition!"
Surah al Bayyinah 98.7 "Those who have faith and do righteous deeds, - they are the best of creatures."

From the Islamic perspective, right thoughts/beliefs followed by right/good actions makes one feel good, peaceful, content… ie: positive self-esteem.
The concept of ‘hemmat’ (courage, fortitude, strength, honor, bravery and valor) is an intrinsic part of a healthy self-esteem.

Since self-esteem requires doing the right thing, it takes courage to defy personal temptations and the social norms.

It is only when one has a positive self-esteem or self-regard that one restrains one's self from debasing or shameful conduct/actions/behaviors.

The Islamic concept of life as a test and fate also help one learn to accept life, as is, whatever the condition we might be in, since it is from Allah Ta’ala for a reason and a purpose.

Islam teaches us that life is meaningful and purposeful. Everything that happens is for a reason and we are to accept it with forbearance, patience, faith and a good attitude… with the belief that everything that Allah creates in our life is for a better outcome.

This is a powerful belief if we can internalize it since it gives one a sense of peace and confidence. With this belief we don’t fall apart at any misfortune that may come in our path.

Islam explains individual differences as a means of getting to know each other, as created by Allah so we can appreciate His creativity and as a means of testing us.

Differences in religion, wealth, social status, intelligence, color, gender, nationality, age, etc. are not to be used to belittle, ridicule, discriminate or abuse anyone. These are meant as a test for our ability to be fair and just toward everyone.
Surah al Hujurât 49:11 "Let not some men among you laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): nor let some women laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames."

Birthday celebration of the Prophet of Islam Mohammad (swt) and Imam Jafar Sadeq (as) the sixth Imam.

The Prophet Mohammad (swt) was born at Mecca in the year 570 A.C.

Mohammad (swt) was born on the eve of 17th of the lunar month of Rabi-ul-awwal and according to some versions on the 12th of the same month.

His father was Abdullah the son of Abdul Muttalib the son of Hashim and his mother Amina was the daughter of Wahab.

His grandfather Abdul Muttalib had many wives and children, out of whom Abdullah and Abu Talib were from the same mother. Thus Prophet Muhammad (swt) was a scion of the noble Bani Hashim clan a sub-division of the large Quraish tribe, descended from Prophet Ishmael (as) the elder son of Prophet Abraham (as).
He was a posthumous child, as his father Abdullah had died three months before his birth, while on a visit to Yathrib (Medina).

The birth of the orphan turned the grief of the bereaved family into unbounded joy, and none were happier than his mother Amina and grandfather Abdul Muttalib, who were in a state of shock at Abdullah's untimely death. The family burst into happiness, slaughtering sheep and throwing a grand banquet for the Quraish, to celebrate the auspicious occasion. Mecca overflowed with joy as throngs of people flocked to Abdul Muttalib's house to congratulate him on the birth of his grandchild.

It is already one year that I wear the religious cloth under the authorization of Ayatollah Wahid Khorassani.

Since that period, I felt deeply a blessing for wearing that cloth which has a huge responsibility.

Esfehan invitation
The last hour before I leave the city for Qum, I visted for the first time "Takhte Foulad" which is a graveyard of 2 Prophets.
Esfahan, City in central Iran with 1.4 million inhabitants on the Zayandeh River.

HISTORY
642: Muslim Arabs conquer Esfahan, making it the capital of the Jibal province.
1055: Togrul Beg, the founder of the Seljuq dynasty makes Esfahan his capital.
1194: With the loss of Seljuq control over Persia, Esfahan loses its importance.
1387: Timur Lenk conquers Esfahan during his invasion of Persia. Allegedly 70,000 of the inhabitants are massacred.
1598: Shah Abbas 1 makes Esfahan his capital. He embarks on a great construction programme, giving the city many beautiful buildings.
1722: The Ghilzay Afghans conquer Esfahan after a long siege. Over the following years, they bring much destruction to the city.
1729: Esfahan is freed from the Afghan occupation.
1930's: Esfahan and its many great buildings which had fallen into rubble, begins to be rebuilt under the initiative of Reza Shah Pahlavi.
1936: Esfahan University is opened.
During my short trip, it was snowing but fortunately I had some excellent friend back in Esfehan helping me to oriented myself better inside the city.

Moharram

What is Ashura ?
In the month of Muharram 61 AH (approx. 20 October 680 AD), an event took place in Iraq at a place known as Karbala on the bank of the river Euphrates. It seemed in those days insignificant from the historical point of view. A large army which had been mobilized by the Umayyad regime besieged a group of persons numbering less than a hundred and put them under pressure to pay allegiance to the Caliph of the time and submit to his authority. The small group resisted and a severe battle took place in which they were all killed. It appeared at that time that like hundreds of similar events, this battle would be recorded in history and forgotten in time.
However, the events that occurred on the 10th day of Muharram in Karbala were to become a beacon and an inspiration for future generations.
Who is Imam Hussain ?
The leader of the small band of men who were martyred in Karbala was none other than Hussain (as), son of Imam Ali and grandson of the Holy Prophet (swt).
Who was Hussain?
He was the son of Fatima (sa) for whom the Holy Prophet (swt) said:
"Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain. May God love whoever loves Hussain."
With the passing away of his brother Hassan (as) in 50 AH, Hussain (as) became the leader of the household of the Holy Prophet (swt). He respected the agreement of peace signed by Hassan (as) and Muawiya, and, despite the urging of his followers, he did not undertake any activity that threatened the political status quo.
Rather he continued with the responsibility of looking after the religious needs of the people and was recognized for his knowledge, piety and generosity. An example of the depth of his perception can be seen in his beautiful du'a on the day of Arafat, wherein he begins by explaining the qualities of Allah, saying:
"(Oh Allah) How could an argument be given about Your Existence by a being whose total and complete existence is in need of you? When did you ever disappear so that you might need an evidence and logic to lead (the people) towards You? And when did You ever become away and distant so that your signs and effects made the people get in touch with you? Blind be the eye which does not see You (whereas) You are observing him. What did the one who missed You find? And what does the one who finds You lack? Certainly, the one who got pleased and inclined toward other than You, came to nothingness (failed)."

On the other hand, we have Yazid, whose father (Muawiya) and grandfather (Abu Sufyan - the arch-enemy of the Prophet) had always tried to sabotage the mission of the Holy Prophet, and who showed his true color by stating in a poem:
"Bani Hashim had staged a play to obtain kingdom, there was neither any news from God nor any revelation."
Mas'udi writes that Yazid was a pleasure-seeking person, given to wine drinking and playing with pets. It is no wonder that Hussain's response to Yazid's governor, when asked to pay allegiance to Yazid was:
"We are the household of the prophethood, the source of messengership, the descending-place of the angels, through us Allah had began (showering His favours) and with us He has perfected (His favors), whereas Yazid is a sinful person, a drunkard, the killer of innocent people and one who openly indulges in sinful acts. A person like me can never pledge allegiance to a person like him ..."
The revolution of Hussain (as) was an Islamic movement spearheaded by one of the great leaders of Islam. The principles and laws of Islam demanded that Hussain (as) act to warn the Ummah of the evil situation which it was in, and to stand in the way of the deviating ruler. As Hussain (as) himself remarked when he left Madina for the last time:
"I am not rising (against Yazid) as an insolent or an arrogant person, or a mischief-monger or tyrant. I have risen (against Yazid) as I seek to reform the Ummah of my grandfather. I wish to bid the good and forbid the evil." Hussain (as) was killed on the battlefield as he did Sajdah. His head was removed from his body on the plains of Karbala, mounted on a spear, and paraded through villages and towns as it was taken to Damascus and presented at the feet of Yazid.

Why remember Ashura ?
Why is Hussain (as) regarded as the "leader of the martyrs" ?
It is because he was not just the victim of an ambitious ruler. There is no doubt that the tragedy of Karbala, when ascribed to the killers, is a criminal and terrible act. However when ascribed to Hussain (as) himself, it represents a conscious confrontation and a courageous resistance for a sacred cause. The whole nation had failed to stand up to Yazid.
They had succumbed to his will, and deviation and regression towards the pre-Islamic ways were increasing.
Passiveness by Hussain (as) in this situation would have meant the end of Islam as we know it. Thus Hussain (as) took upon himself the responsibility of the whole nation. The greatest tragedy was that one who stood up for the noblest of causes, the defence of Islam, was cut down in so cruel a manner. It is for this reason that the sacrifice of Hussain (as) is commemorated annually throughout the Muslim world. Our sorrow never abates as we relive the tragedy. I am one who weeps at the plight of the Martyr of Karbala Won't the reward be given to me by the Keeper of Kawsar (Imam Ali (as)).
The commemoration of Ashura on the 10th of Muharram every year serves to remind us of the sacrifices of the family of the Prophet (swt). It also makes us aware of the people, then and now, who tried to destroy Islam and the family of the Prophet (swt) and all that they stood for -as well as those who watched, listened and did nothing.

Waiting for a Savior in other Religions
In many religions there is an expectation for a savior to come and help the release from injustice.
In Islam it is ‘Mahdawai’ which has a great international philosophy, because Islam is an international religion and Shia in its real meaning is an international factor.
In addition to the Muslims especially the Shia, followers of other religions like Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, and Hindus expect someone to come and bring peace and justice to the world.

In the book “Dead” which is a divine book for Hindus, it is written: “In the end of the world, after corruption of the world, a leader will appear who is called Mansoor.
He will master all the world, he will know everyone whether a believer or an unbeliever, and whatever he asks, God will offer him”. (Beshatrat Ahdin, p.245).

And in the Old Testament the book of Genesis 18:20 “And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee; Behold, I have blessed him and will make him fruitful and I will multiply him exceedingly, Twelve Princes shall he beget and I will make him a great nation”

And in David’s Mazamir (Zaboor) it is written: “ and God will approve the pious men who will become owners of the earth and will settle in it for ever” (Mazmour 37, 10-37).
And in the Holy Qur’an it is mentioned:
“And certainly we wrote in the book after the reminder that (as for) the land, My righteous servants shall inherit the earth”. (Chap 21:105).
Expectation and waiting for Imam Mahdi (aj) has a longer history than Islam. It does not only relate to a specific race, region, or religion.
Also in the Holy Qur’an it is said:
“Allah has promised to those of you who believe and do good that He will most certainly make them rulers in the earth as he made those before them rulers, and that he will most certainly establish for them their religion which he has chosen for them, and that he will most certainly, after their fear, give them security in exchange; they shall serve me, not associating aught with me, and whoever is ungrateful after this, these it is who are the transgressors” (24:55)
and also in the Holy Qur’an:
“And we desired to bestow a favor upon those who were deemed week in the land, and to make them the Imams (Leaders), and to make them the heirs.” (28:5)
The above two verses are examples to prove that at last, persons with great merit will govern the world and lead the people. From the Holy Qur’an two items are derived:

1. The final objective of the prophets is two matters: Monotheism and Justice. The first is about the relationship between man and his lord, and the second is about interrelationship among people.
2. Justice is not a desire, a mere wish or a daydream, but a reality which the world moves towards it. It is God’s tradition that he will govern the world in full justice.
There will come a day in which no cruelty, no injustice, no hostility, no killing, no oppression, no lies, and no corruption will exist in the world. It means that after a period of corruption and ignorance finally the world will be filled with equity and justice. And the reason for not collapsing or destroying the world in future is the expectance of The Mahdi (aj) in coming and making man to live a happy life. A period in which only peace, humanity and morality will govern the world.

The Prophet of Islam calls that day, the day of light and human dignity. He said :
“Hazrat Al Mahdi (aj) will come in a situation that diversity and degradation among the people is so high that the world will be ruined. He will come and preserve humanity from damage and corruption.
Then God will enrich peoples hearts with faith and love” So Al Mahdi (aj) is not a thought of mere sitting and waiting, not a future telling, but he is a true reality, a special personality who himself expects his appearance. He lives among the people, watches us and we watch for him, he is with our sufferings and desires, and he shares our happiness and our oppressions.
His divine life is planned this way, not to make himself appear and wait with other people for the promised time.
Just as the Sun hidden behind the clouds provides us with light and warmth…….,

Imam Mahdi (aj) provides us with guidance even though he is in Ghaybat, (hiding)…..
Expectation does not deprive man from any of his responsibilities and does not delay any of his actions , as it is mentioned in the following narration: “The best action is expectation for relief and appearance which is a very preferable virtue and is resulted from high and good faith”

Like wise it is mentioned in the narration’s that Jesus the Son of Mary (as) will also reappear after the advent of Al Mahdi (aj), he will pray behind the Imam and assist him in his task.
Holy Prophet (sawa) Warns “One who dies without recognizing the Imam of his time,then his death is that of an ignorant person”(Yanabiul Muadda, Vol 39 Page 137.)

The main aim of this site is to enlighten the people and to make them aware of the vital and significant position of our Present Imam (Imam Mahdi aj) His position is so exalted that many people have tried to take his place they have taken the advantage of his occultation and have made many people believe that they are the real Imam the present Hujjat of God in this world.
With their false proclamation and devious means they have deviated many innocent Muslims from their true path and lead them astray into a new religion formed by them. But the fact, which cannot be ignored, is that, however tall the proclamation made by them might be and whatever ways might be adopted by them these pseudo Mahdis can never prove themselves as the proclaimed one.

There is a great proverb “All that glitters is not gold” It truly applies in this case.
If an ignorant man is given a copper coin and he is told that it is a gold coin, he will believe it. But a person who is well familiar with a gold coin won’t be fooled.
Also if the ignorant man is told about the properties of gold he won’t be fooled by a copper coin.
Similarly whatever attempts are made by these pseudo Mahdis they cannot prove themselves as our present Imam. The real criteria of distinguishing the real Imam from these pseudo ones is based and supported by Quran, the Hadiths.
Last but not the least we would like to highlight the main objectives of all.
Providing clear and true information about the vital and varied aspects of Imam Mahdi’s life.
Making people recognize the true Imam in light of supporting evidences of the Holy Quran, Hadiths.

Creating a sense of responsibility within the Muslims about their duties towards our present Imam.

The issue is not just about Hijab. It is about setting a precedent.

This could lead to a situation in which we are eventually presented with a list of verses in the Quran which would be ‘unacceptable’ to read.

The conference presented a reading on the history of Hijab since its Abrahamic origins.
- Etymology of the word Hijab
- Spirituality in Hijab
- Philosophy of Hijab
- Obligation according to the Quran

- Meaning of secularism
- The ban problem in some countries and it dangers
- Presentation of the Human Right Commission regarding the ban on the Hijab in public school as discrimination based on religion.

I also explained that schools are therefore obliged to accommodate students who wear the Hijab (or any religious outfit), unless reasons of security or public order justify a restriction on that right.
A summary of my lecture in 7 points:
1. An act of obedience
The hijab is an act of obedience to Allah, to his prophet (pbuh) and the Imams (as), Allah says in the Qur'an: “It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His messenger have decreed a matter that they should have an option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has indeed strayed in a plain error.” (S33:36).
Allah also said: “And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc) and not to show off their adornment except what must (ordinarily) appear thereof, that they should draw their veils over their Juyubihinna.”(S24:31).
2. The Hijab is Modesty
Allah made the adherence to the Hijab a manifestation for chastity and modesty.
Allah says: “O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) over their bodies (when outdoors). That is most convenient that they should be known and not molested.” (S33:59).
3. The hijab is Tahara (Purity)
Allah had shown us the wisdom behind the legislation of the Hijab: “And when you ask them for anything you want, ask them from behind a screen that is purer for your hearts and their hearts.” (S33:53).
The Hijab cuts off the ill thoughts and the greed of the sick hearts: “Be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of hypocrisy or evil desire for adultery, etc) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manner.” (S33:32)

Allah says in the Qur'an: “O children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover yourselves (screen your private parts, etc) and as an adornment. But the raiment of righteousness, that is better.”(S7:26).

un couturier religieux célèbre

Après la cérémonie de la remise de turban par l'ayatollah Wahid, au printemps dernier, je suis allé chez le couturier religieux le célèbre M. Arabe-Pour.

En quelques minutes, il a pris mes mesures et m'a demandé d'acheter le tissu, ce que j'ai fait. Un mois plus tard, le "labadeh" était prêt (ce qui fut un miracle car habituellement, M. Arabe-Pour coud les "labbadeh" en 6 mois). inchAllah ce vêtement sera bientôt utiliser pour mon voyage à Montréal, au Canada, à l'occasion du Ramadan.

وَلِبَاسُ التَّقْوٰى ذٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ‌ ذٰلِكَ مِنْ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُوْنَ‏

"Mais le vêtement de la piété voilà qui est meilleur. - C'est un des signes (de la puissance) d'Allah. Afin qu'ils se rappellent." [26:7]

Turban Bestowed / Remise de turban

La remise du turban

Après de nombreuses réflexions, j'ai finalement décidé de demander l'authorisation du turban par l'un des oulémas de Qom.

Après "estekharah" ou consultation Coranique, j'ai décidé de recevoir le turban par l'ayatollah Wahid Khorassani grâce à certains de mes professeurs du Hawzah International Mustafawiah de Qom et de mes amis du séminaire "talabeh" qui m'ont encouragé.

L'ayatollah Khorassani est né en 1921 à Machhad. Après avoir terminé ses études en littérature, il a appris le Sotouh par l'ayatollah Haj Cheikh Mohammad Nahawandi, puis il a étudié les cours de Kharij par l'ayatollah Mirza Mehdi Isfahani et l'ayatollah Ashtiyani. Il a également appris les sciences rationnelles, la philosophie et la théologie par Mirza Aboul Qasim Ilahi et Mirza Agha Mahdi Ashtiyani. Puis il a émigré à Nadjaf pour terminer ses études à l'âge de 27 ans.

Là, il a assisté au cours de l'ayatollah Ozma Agha Mirza Abdul Hadi Chirazi, et l'ayatollah Ozma Hakim mais son professeur le principal fut l'ayatollah Ozma Haj Sayyid Abol Qasim Khou'i, et, plus tard, il devint l'un de ses éminents étudiants . En 1378 AH (1958 AD), et après l'enseignement du Sotouh depuis de nombreuses années, Son Eminence a commencé à enseigner Fiqh et Ossoul du niveau Kharij à Najaf durant environ douze ans. Il est par la suite retourné à Machhad en 1936.

Après un an il a immigré à Qom. Il est aujourd'hui le professeur par excellence du Fiqh et du Ossoul du niveau Kharij dans le Hawzah et est considéré distant de la politique du Régime Iranien.

Le 17 Rabii Awwal, le jour J est arrivé et je suis encore hésitant et nerveux. Beaucoup de questions sont venus dans mon esprit, suis-je prêt ou pas pour mette le turban? Serai-je capable d'être un sincère chiite ?

Enfin, avec l'aide de Dieu et le soutien de l'imam Mahdi (aj),je me sens spirituellement prêt de porter le "qabaa" (longue robe) et de le "abaa" (une sorte de manteau) ... et aller à l'office du savant avec mon turban sous le bras.

Hojjatoleslam Khaligh élève du grand ayatollah seyyed Sadeq Shirazi (ha) m'a préparé un turban blanc (non-Seyyed) que j'ai acheté dans un magasin de tissu Najafi religieux.

Le vendeur Najafi: Combien de mètres avez-vous besoin?

Moi: 2 mètres
Le vendeur Najafi: 2 mètres? mais on, c'est trop court ... il faut utiliser 6 ou 7 mètres.
Moi: comme j'ai la grosse tête alors 7 mètres!
Hojjatoleslam Khaligh a arrangé mon turban durant 15 minutes.

11h00, Un ami est venu me chercher pour aller à l'office du savant avec d'autres amis. Tout le monde s'est levé et on m'a laissé une place. Pendant ce temps, il y avait des chants religieux (éloges du Saint prophète (swt) et l'Imam Jafar Sadegh (as). Ensuite, l'arrivée de l'ayatollah sous les récitations de salawat. D'autres étudiants du Hawzah comme moi ayant présent pour la remise de leur turban.

Un vieux monsieur est venu avec un plateau et a mis mon turban dessus. Ensuite, il m'a placé en face de l'ayatollah Wahid. J'étais nerveux, je ne savais pas quoi faire. Ayatollah Wahid a pris le turban, a fait des invocation (longues minutes) en soufflant trois fois dedans puis me la placé sur la tête.

Inchallah moafaghine, que cela soit le libass taqwa...a proclamé la foule. Mais le vêtement de la piété voilà qui est meilleur. - C'est un des signes (de la puissance) d'Allah. Afin qu'ils se rappellent. (Saint Coran 7:26)

La cérémonie fut terminer avant la prière du Zohr et on m'a offert une enveloppe avec quelques $20 pour la "barekate".

17 rabii awwal de cette année fut un miracle et une étape importante dans ma vie! Je n'ai pas oublier de prier pour les gens qui m'ont aidé à réaliser mon rêve. Surtout mes parents, mon frère et mes amis. Supplicate to Allah to purify your heart : Allah said in the Qur'an: "And those who came after them say: 'Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful." [al-Hashr (59): 10]

1) qu'est-ce que l'impérialisme culturel?

L'impérialisme culturel est la pratique de la promotion de la culture ou de la langue d'une nation sur une autre. Les empires au cours de l'histoire ont été établies au moyen de guerres et contrainte (l'impérialisme militaire). À long terme, les populations ont tendance à calquer la culture dominante et ses attributs indirectement. Par exemple, le Canada est aux prises avec l'influence des États-Unis.

Outre le fait que les entreprises américaines ont acheté des industries canadiennes et cetaines ressources, la population canadienne est continuellement exposés aux médias américains. Que cela peut être assez appelé "l'impérialisme culturel' ou non ceci est un débat interminable. Quelle que soit l'étiquette de l'influence des États-Unis, le gouvernement canadien a appliqué le protectionnisme culturel canadien en réponse.

L'acculturation est l'obtention d'une culture par un individu ou par un groupe de personnes. Le terme est appliqué initialement au procès d'une culture étrangère. L'acculturation est l'échange d'éléments culturels, qui résulte a un échange et mixage de cultures de 2 cultures. Cependant les 2 cultures restent distinctes. L'acculturation peut être volontaire ou forcé. Il s'agit d'un deuxième mécanisme d'un changement de culture. l'acculturation implique différents niveaux de destruction, à la survie, la domination, de résistance, de modification et l'adaptation des cultures suivantes interethniques contacté.

Cependant, le terme signifie l'acculturation de la culture de l'éducation depuis l'enfance. L'apprentissage de la première culture de l'enfant est aussi appelé enculturation ou simplement la socialisation. La définition traditionnelle de l'acculturation parfois différencie par un individu (transculturation) et que par un groupe - généralement de très grandes (acculturation). Les anciennes et les nouvelles définitions ont une frontière qui brouille dans les sociétés multiculturelles modernes, où un enfant d'une famille d'immigrants pourraient être encouragées à la fois à la l'acculturalisme tout en conservant sa culture familiale, ou bien resté considérés comme un "étranger", ce qui fait partie intégrante du développement de l'enfant.

3) l'islamisation:

L'islamisation est la transformation progressive d'un territoire parlant l'arabe ou de confession musulmane et faisant partie de la culture d'origine musulmane.

Il peut aussi signifier le déplacement d'une population dans un territoire musulman.
4) l'américanisation:
L'américanisation est un terme utilisé exprimant l'influence des États-Unis d'Amérique à une culture d'un autre pays c.à.d. la substitution de leur culture avec la culture américaine. Ce terme à de nos jours une connotation négative (volontaire). L'américanisation peut aussi se référer au processus d'immigrants aux États-Unis qui s'assimilent dans la société américaine. Ce processus implique souvent l'apprentissage et l'adaptation de l'anglais américain et de la culture Américaine.

5) l'assimilation:

L'assimilation culturelle, ou «assimilation» est un processus intense d'une intégration d'un groupe ethno-culturel, le plus souvent des immigrants, ou d'une minorité qui sont "absorbé" dans un ensemble d'une communauté.

Cela suppose une perte de la totalité ou d'un grand nombre de caractéristiques qui rendent les nouveaux arrivants différents. Lorsqu'une région est assimilé, il est parfois appelé un "melting pot". L'assimilation peut être volontaire, qui est habituellement le cas avec les immigrés, ou contrainte à un groupe, comme c'est habituellement le cas de pays dont le communautarisme est interdit. L'immigration est souvent dans le sens de l'intérêt de la politique et des élites économique et par la suite dans l'intérêt du plus faible (généralement motivés par des «non choix», et non pas des objectifs collectifs). Lorsque les groupes sont fortement encouragés à assimiler, souvent beaucoup de résistances en dépit de l'utilisation de la force gouvernementale sont présentes. Si un gouvernement met l'accent sur l'extrême de l'unité nationale et de l'identité, cela créé des rejets notamment dans le cas de minorités originaires d'ennemis historiques (expulsion ou même de génocide). Peu de travaux de recherche étudie la relation entre les immigrants et leur influence sur l'unité ou la diversité culturelle. La pénurie est due, en partie, à la difficulté de définir le domaine de la culture. Dans un article qui traite la production et la répartition des ressources culturelles et symboliques dans les domaines linguistique et ethnoculturelle du Canada, de Breton (1984) ont utilisé la notion de la construction d'un ordre symbolique pour englober la formation des valeurs, les normes, les coutumes et les façons de faire les choses, en particulier différents aspects dans les institutions publiques. Breton (1984) a également inclus la langue comme moyen la plus efficace de relier les peuples car la langue est aussi liée à l'identité et le mode de vie en tant que composantes de l'ordre symbolique.

Mais l'Islam est bien plus fort que ce que dit la théorie de Breton.

Dans le Coran, Dieu déclare que les différentes nations et tribus existent afin que les "peuples se rencontrent". La multiplicité des nations, des races, des tribus et des langues est une belle spécificité de la création de Dieu. Pas besoin d'assimiler et d'imposer une culture à une autre culture étant donné que le noble Coran demande de respecter les autres cultures et d'apprendre les uns des autres:
"Ô hommes! Nous vous avons créés d'un mâle et d'une femelle, et Nous avons fait de vous des nations et des tribus, pour que vous vous entre-connaissiez. Le plus noble d'entre vous, auprès d'Allah, est le plus pieux. Allah est certes Omniscient et Grand Connaisseur." (13:49)
